YAY! My mom sent me a violin that my cousin is letting me borrow. I am sure it’s not totally necessary that I have my own to practice on but I thought it would be a good excuse to borrow it!

Nathan is starting his violin lessons this fall and will get one of his own but part of the class involves a parent (that would be me) learning along with him. Anyway, it was exciting to see this huge box being carried up my driveway. It’s kind of like Christmas for me knowing I have that to dig into.

Now, the tough part will be getting to find someone to help me repair the lock on the case. My mom warned me before she sent it up here that the case is locked and the key broke so hopefully I’ll find some way to get the violin out. It also has a couple of strings that need to be repaired but that’s no biggie. I can’t wait for our lessons!
