Have you ever seen someone, say a teacher, out of the usual environment you are used to seeing them? Doesn’t that always feel weird? Well today it happened to Nathan. We waltzed into Price Chopper and while I was getting Will put into the cart we see N8’s preschool teacher, Ms. Jan, walking briskly out of the first set of double doors. I turned to Nathan to say, “hey isn’t that Ms. Jan?” and saw that he’d already noticed.

Anyway she stopped and we chatted for a minute or two and I could tell N8 was feeling very strange. It was cute though. He kept showing her his gloves that he had on and they discussed how cold it was outside today. It was nice to know she actually lives near us. We talked a bit about the elementary school in our district and it turns out she used to teach there as well. After visiting we went on our way but I could tell that N8 just felt a little weird about running into his teacher at the grocery store.
