Happy New Year!

While 2006 brought some great moments here in the T household, I am sure that 2007 will prove to be an even better year! I normally don’t make too much of resolutions as usually it’s to just accomplish more things on my master to-do list.

I’m pretty pleased with how our household is run and with the system I have in place here with keeping things running smoothly. I have, however, decided to make a huge effort when it comes to the following:

  • Taking better care of my skin. Let me explain. I turn 32 this year and although I can confidently say I don’t feel it or look it, I am sure that it’s only a matter of time before the big mama (Nature) and gravity start to kick in. I use some kick-butt skin care products so I am not sure why I am so lazy when it actually comes to sticking to my regimen. But, I vow to do it starting today. I need to get this stuff back on track.
  • Making a dent in my scrapbooking/memory preservation. I know I say this every year so why stop now? I would really like to block out some time to REGULARLY devote to this. I have all the tools and pics I just need to get the work done. It’ll happen.
  • Saying “no”. This year I am looking forward to taking more of a backseat on things that aren’t absolutely essential that I involve myself in. Most of my reasons for doing this is so I’ll have more time to complete my last resolution listed below, but as some of my commitments expire this summer, I don’t see any need to always “do so much”. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit back and see what others will do and have some fun with that.
  • Make some extra money doing something worthy so we can send Nathan to a FABULOUS school! David and I have a few things brewing in our entrepreneurial brains and I also have some different ideas. Anyway, we’ve both decided that we’d like to make it happen for Nathan by next fall. So, we’re on the waitlist and should hopefully hear something in March when they start making their way down the list.

I’m sure I’ll think of more things to add to this list but for now, these are my priorities. I wish you all the best for a great 2007!
