But honestly, it feels pretty appropriate. And since I’ve been using this one myself, I figured a Farmasi Zen Mascara review was as good a way as any to jump back in.
If you’ve been around Mommypalooza for any amount of time, you know this site has always been a little bit of everything — parenting, family life, things I love, things I’ve tried and whatever happens to be useful or fun at the moment.
And lately, one of those things has been Farmasi.

Farmasi Zen Mascara Review: Why I Like It
At this stage of my life, I don’t have the patience for a complicated everyday makeup routine. I want products that are easy to use, make a noticeable difference and don’t require 17 steps to get there.
Mascara is one of those products I almost always reach for because even when I’m wearing minimal makeup, defined lashes make me feel more put together.
Farmasi Zen Mascara has become an easy one for me to grab for exactly that reason. It gives my lashes the definition and emphasis I want without requiring a whole production.

Farmasi Zen Mascara Review: What Does It Look Like on Real Lashes?
This is always what I want to know when I’m looking at mascara online.
Not what it looks like in a perfectly lit ad on a model. What does it actually look like on a regular person going about her day?
So, here’s mine.
What I like most is that my lashes still look like my lashes — just more noticeable and defined. That’s much more my speed for everyday makeup.

Is Farmasi Zen Mascara Good for Everyday Makeup?
For me, yes.
It’s the kind of mascara I reach for when I’m doing my regular makeup and want my eyes to look finished without spending forever on them.
I’d especially consider it if you’re looking for:
- An easy everyday mascara
- More noticeable, defined-looking lashes
- A mascara that works with a simple makeup routine
- A natural-looking finished eye rather than an over-the-top lash look
Obviously mascara is one of those products where everyone has her own preferences, so I can only tell you how it works for me. But that’s also exactly why I wanted to put this review here instead of simply repeating a product description.
