Welcome to My Little Corner of the Internet
Mommypalooza is a lifestyle and parenting blog about real life—the things I try, love, discover, figure out along the way, and think are worth sharing.
I’m a mom of four, a longtime blogger, and the person behind Mommypalooza. I started blogging when my kids were little, back when much of my life revolved around playdates, activities, birthday parties, school schedules, and figuring out this whole parenting thing as I went.
A lot has changed since then. My kids have grown, life has changed, and naturally, so has what I want to write about.
Today, Mommypalooza is where I share a little bit of everything that makes up this stage of life—from family and parenting to beauty, food, home, travel, affordable finds, and the random discoveries that make me think, someone else needs to know about this.

What You’ll Find on Mommypalooza
There isn’t just one topic around here, because, well, real life doesn’t fit neatly into one category.
You’ll find posts about things like:
- Beauty & Favorites — products I’m using, things I’m trying, affordable finds, and favorites I genuinely think are worth sharing.
- Family & Parenting — experiences, ideas, and lessons picked up while raising four kids through very different ages and stages.
- Food & Recipes — easy meals, recipes, treats, restaurant finds, and things my family actually eats.
- Lifestyle & Home — everyday finds, projects, celebrations, practical ideas, and whatever else is making life easier or more fun.
- Travel & Experiences — places we visit, things we do, and experiences I think are worth putting on your own list.
Some posts will answer a question you were already searching for. Others might introduce you to something you didn’t know you needed. And occasionally, I may just tell you about something happening in my life because that’s what blogging has always been about for me.
Real Life. Real Experiences. Real Recommendations.
One thing that matters to me is keeping Mommypalooza personal.
If I’m writing about a product I’ve used, I’ll tell you what I actually think about it. If I’m sharing a place we’ve visited, I’ll share what stood out. If I’ve figured out an easier way to do something, found a great deal, tried a recipe, discovered a new favorite, or learned something the hard way, there’s a pretty good chance it could eventually end up here.
Not everything I share will be right for everyone—and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to convince you that you need everything I like. It’s to share enough of my own experience that you can decide whether something might work for you.
A Little About the Person Behind the Blog
I’m based in the Kansas City area, where my husband and I are raising our family. With four kids spanning very different stages of life, I’ve learned that motherhood doesn’t exactly get less interesting as they get older—it just changes.
When I’m not writing or working, there’s a good chance I’m watching football, listening to an audiobook, going to a movie, attempting to keep up with everyone’s schedules, wandering the aisles of a favorite store, or planning whatever our family is doing next.
I’m also the person who will absolutely text a friend when I find something good—which is probably the simplest explanation for Mommypalooza.
This site is basically the bigger version of that text.
