One of Nathan’s favorite activities is sitting down to work in one of his many dot-to-dot books. We’ve got dot-to-dot 1 to 10, 1 to 20 and 1 to 100. He does them all.

Today he informed me that he wanted to show me a new way to do them. He dots backwards. So, he’ll start from 10 and go to 9, and so on. It was really fun and struck me as a clever way to view the activity.

After doing two pages of them himself, I guess he didn’t think I was quite catching on because he told me that I needed to do a dot-to-dot page to see how it’s done. So, I did. Yep, I can still count backwards from 10.
