n8 has begun singing and mimicking every single sound and song he hears!! Today and this past week, it’s been the Farmer in the Dell. What is a “dell”? I need to look that up and figure it out so i know what we’re suppsoed to be singing about.

David asked me what that meant and i replied, “i don’t know. it’s just how the song goes.” I guess i never thought of questioning it before.

Okay, i found this site that had info on this rhyme, but surprisingly, no answer on what the “dell” is. Also, the songwriter and copyright are “unknown”…..hmmm………
