Alexander came over to play this afternoon so that Erin could be taken out on a real, live date with her husband, of course, for her birthday next week. After playing for a while, Alexander raced upstairs after barely touching his lunch while N8 wanted to stay and finish his food. Here’s the conversation that went down when Nathan was calling for Alexander to come downstairs.

N8 (yelling from the bottom of the stairs): “Alexander?? Come down.”
A: “No.” (in a very non-chalant sort of voice, almost as if to say “nah”.)
N8: “Alexander, don’t chu want to come downstairs and finish your food?”
A: “No! Come upstairs, Nathan.”
N8: “When i’m finished my lunch!”

Seriously, these two crack me up. I wish i had a video camera in every room of the house to follow these two around.
