Today has been a hot, fun-filled day of activity for us. This morning i packed the boys up and headed over to the church for our daily dose of “Little Angels” going on all this week. It’s a fun program for the kids that begins with some storytelling, then some singing and dancing, a couple of crafts, and then……..PLAYGROUND!! Of course, my little angel, Nathan, looks forward to that the most! Today the theme was Noah’s Ark. The kids made a cute Noah’s Ark scene with stickers of animals and such. Then a crown/hat with animal foamies glued everywhere. Gotta love those foamies! What a great invention.

Then it was home for a quick lunch (think: PB&J & milk) so that we could then leave again to make the movie we had lined up. The local theatre does these $2 movies every summer Monday – Thursday. This week’s movie was Doogal which ended up being a cute show after all! It was full of humor, talking animals, and of course, the best part about ANY movie……POPCORN!!! I actually amazed myself at my ability to take TWO kids to the movies, buy popcorn and a drink, and find great seats. But of course, my boys were “little angels”. Will is turning out to be such a trooper these days when we’re out. Nathan behaved wonderfully and even carried his own booster seat from the lobby to the theatre. He’s such a great helper to me!

After the movie it was over to the library to pick up some books i had on hold and a couple of DVDs. The boys again were troopers, but so obviously tired! Then i whizzed by the new shopping center to see if I could determine where the new Chick-Fil-A is going to be. I indeed was disappointed to see that they have just barely begun to work on it!! I hope they hurry…..my mouth is seriously watering for some Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and waffle fries with barbecue sauce……mmmmmmMMMMMMM!!

By this time everyone was so pooped…..Will cried a while in his carseat and N8 fell fast asleep. Everyone’s now napping. YAY!!
