We took N8 to Worlds of Fun today as sort of a precursor to celebrating his birthday all weekend. Everyone had a ball, including Will.

First stop was the 25 cent cotton candy. Where on EARTH can you find anything that costs 25 cents these days? You know we were all over that!

N8 then went on the Red Baron airplane ride. It was the first ride he’s ever gotten on by himself. I was a bit concerned that he might cry or be upset that he had to go by himself, but he wasn’t! He loved every minute of it. My mom, David and I kept yelling out at him while the ride was going to pull back and forth on the handle that was in front of him to make the airplane go up and down, but he just looked and smiled at us as if he was already having the time of his life!

Then David, Nathan and I went on a few rides together. David was so psyched because there were actually quite a few rides that Nathan could actually go on as long as he was accompanied by us. We had a great time. We actually went on this ride twice and my mom got a great pic of us:

We were all pooped by the end of the day.

(I know – Will has my happy face and David and Nathan always look so serious!)
