Fresh-squeezed fun.

Today was fabulous. After dining at Texas Roadhouse once again for lunch (love those rolls and butter!), we all headed home where Nathan decided he needed a nap. Will and I ran up to church to take a walk-through of the holiday bazaar. There were some very unique and great gift ideas there. I ended up shopping for myself though. A friend of mine’s mom was selling Ruanas similar to this one for about 30 bucks so I picked one up in a camel color. It is so beautiful and comfortable. I just know I am going to love it.

Anyway so I headed back home only to find Nathan was still sleeping! David and I chatted a bit before he headed off to work and when he left Nathan and I made some fresh squeezed lemonade. He’s a major lemonade afficionado so when I asked him if he preffered Chick-fil-a’s lemonade or our lemonade and he answered “ours”, I was shocked. I guess it was that good! We had a great time making it. I used my new heavy duty food processor’s juicer component and it was a breeze. Here’s my method:

-the juice of 8 small lemons
-1 cup sugar
-3 cups cold H2O (or more, to taste)
-Blend all three, chill, and enjoy!
-You can also slice some fresh lemon and place a few slices in the pitcher for garnishment and added flavor.
(avoid adding ice as it dilutes)
