Forgot the babes.

Well, we made it to Austin safe and sound last night after yet again a great flight on the fabulous airline, Midwest. I’ve got pics to post of Will’s first airplane ride and of the YUM-O cookies they served us. We actually ended up coming off the airplane with a doggy bag of sorts since they gave us some extras to take!

So, back to the title of this post. We get to my mom’s and Nathan suddenly realizes we forgot Snowy Mountain, his baby which is actually my sister’s old Strawberry Shortcake rag doll from years ago. Snowy Mountain is the name he actually gave to his imaginary baby sometime ago but one day I asked him if he wanted to me to find a real doll we could use for her and he was happy to finally put a face to a name. We also forgot Melvin, his monkey from Build-a-Bear, which his Auntie gave him at his first Christmas. Weird how both toys have a connection to my sister, but anyway.

So he realizes we forgot these two “babies” and asks that we call his dad to make sure that he takes care of them and since Melvin is in Nathan’s bed all alone as we speak, he wants his daddy to get Melvin and sleep with him and Snowy Mountain to make sure they aren’t too lonely or scared. So, honey if you’re reading this, please take good care of S.M. and Melvin the monkey. Thanks hon!
