You can’t have a birthday without cake (at least not in MY house!) so this tasty treat from DQ was just the thing for everyone.

Nathan and Will enjoying their day with Daddy.

After hanging out at home for most of the morning and afternoon, we headed over for Twilight (a.k.a., really cheap) admission at Worlds of Fun. David and I were very much looking forward to it since we’d actually have other grown-ups with us, which of course meant that D & I could actually get on some adult rides. Woo-hoo!

Too bad there aren’t any pictures of me “screaming like a girl” (according to my Dad and Nathan) on the Boomerand coaster. D & I also got to get on the Mamba coaster ride which was really scary for me to be on but TOTALLY worth it! Ahhh….what a rush! I also got to share my very own car with Nathan on the ferris wheel and we also did a few other rides, including one splashy water one.

Nathan and Will spent a lot of time in Camp Snoopy, too. Then, Nathan of course had to do his favorites – Shooting Ball Game (not the official name, but that’s what he calls it) and the Scrambler.
