Nathan and Will were so glad to be celebrating Grandpa’s birthday with him. Don’t ask me why, but my Dad for some reason thought he could actually find a decent mexican restaurant that serves breakfast around here. Anyway we eneded up going to a place that I’d neve been to before and had high hopes. Fat chance.
Here’s a tip, people: you can’t call yourself a Mexican restaurant and NOT EVEN SERVE refried beans! I understand the whole balck bean thing, but at least give people an option. Duh!
But, at least we had a good time.
Then we went off to the farm and showed Granda around. It was really hot but a LOT of fun!
Then later for dinner we took Grandpa to Red Robin since he’d never been and is of course a true carnivore. We lucked out since it was a Tuesday night and Kids Night. They had a great balloon artist there and they took inspiration from the shirt Nathan was wearing to design a fabulous balloon hat and sword.
Don’t you just love that “R, Matey” pirate face?!
