my Godmother gave to me,
a goodie bag with yummy treats!

Nathan’s first day back at preschool started out great. Season, one of his godmothers, had dropped off a goodie bag the night before so he got to dig into it just after breakfast before heading out for his first day back at school.

There were all kinds of yummy treats in the bag. Needless to say, it made his day.

And here he is, all ready to go to school.

One thing I love about his preschool is that the kids get their schoolbags supplied to them by the preschool. They decorated their bags on the first day so Nathan will bring his bag home on Friday when it’s all ready to go.

While we parents waited in the gym (school was only an hour the first day), the Senior Frogs class was busy decorating their school bags, reading Froggy Goes to School, and playing. Nathan said he had a great first day and even remembered a few of his new classmates’ names. But, there’s only one best buddy in that class:

Hmmm…wonder what his favorite center in class is??

All in all, a great first day!
