This morning over breakfast Nathan and I were discussing today’s holiday and the significance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. After reading this book, we discussed what kinds of changes Dr. King envisioned for the human race. At the end of the book the final page asks “What can you do to make the world a better place?”. As I was closing the book, Nathan says to me:

“Hey mom, i have a great idea for making the world a better place.”

Then I replied, “How?”

And he says:

“Giving people hugs and showing your love, too!”

I told him I thought that would DEFINITELY change the world and make it a happier place. I am sure Dr. King would’ve loved that idea, too.
