So here’s a first for us. We went to storytime as usual this morning [it was WAY too cold for Deanna Rose Farmstead, which is what I had originally planned] and our club card was full so Nathan knew it meant we were picking out something to take home. PBK gives you a stamp each time you go to a storytime event and once you reach five, you get a $10 in-store credit. Saweet.

I had told Nathan that we would pick out a book this time but truthfully, I had my eye on the play microwave. It was only going to cost me $9 out of pocket since Grammy left the boys $20 to split for Easter gifts + we had the $10 store credit. So there we were, walking around, stopping to play, color, run around, etc. and before you know it everyone was ready to leave. I asked Nathan what he wanted to do about picking something out and he said he’d rather just save his card [$10 coupon] and pick something out when we come back again. I couldn’t believe that he actually had a legitimate right to buy something that day but wanted to wait. I seriously thought it was an April Fool’s joke.

So, looks like we’ll be picking something out when we’re there again next week. It gives us something to look forward to, I suppose.
