One of the things that Nathan is looking forward to about our Disney trip coming up later this week is the celebration of his unbirthday. A few weeks ago when were talking about our upcoming trip he mentioned that he wanted it to be his birthday when we go to Disney World. I told him that his birthday was in September and that perhaps Daddy would be up for going again in Septemeber! (Hey, I had to try) Unfortunately, that wasn’t good enough. N said he wanted this birthday to be in April, not September. Thus, his unbirthday was created. Yes, there is such a thing as an unbirthday. In fact, we recently enojoyed Alice in Wonderland here at home and the movie only confirms how fitting it is that Nathan celebrate his unbirthday while at Disney World.
So both Nathan + Will have two birthdays that we celebrate – the day they were each born and their unbirthday. Nathan’s unbirthday is April 12 since that’s the day our Disney dining reservation is for lunch with the Little Einsteins + Jo Jo’s Circus at the very hip and cool Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Will’s unbirthday is on September 9 I think we decided so we’ll have to cook up some fun for him this fall.
It’ll be so fun during our upcoming trip to celebrate both boys’ birthdays (un or not) and have them get the royal treatment from the cast members. Incidentally, Nathan is really looking forward to experiencing the beach [even if it is only at our resort beach] during our hotel stay.
