Here she is in all her glory. Clementine is a happy and energetic little fish who is no doubt enjoying the her bubbly and colorful surroundings. The kids are already warming up to her as they love to watch her swim about and point out that she waves to them with her rapid little fin moving around. I’m not sure what the protocol with Bettas is with regard to adding other companion fish but I think we’ll research it a little more before deciding to get her some fishy friends. She’s entertaining enough at this point!

Oooh, that’s a great photo! Clementine is as gorgeous as her name. That’s actually a name on my short list of possible [far into the] FUTURE kids’ names. 🙂

Betta fish do not like companions. They are territorial and will attack and kill the other if you try and put one in its bowl. That’s why they are in their own little bowls in the pet store and not in a big tank together.
