Soccer season has begun yet again.  Today was N’s first soccer game of the season with his new team, The Superheroes.  If you met the kids on the team you would certainly agree that the name is very fitting for each of them.  They all own at least one superhero dress-up costume of some sort and love to pretend to be saving the world from evil villains.  The name suits the team perfectly.

N was very excited about the season starting back up.  His soccer skills have really improved since last year and he’s much more confident, too. 

Even W had a great time cheering on The Superheroes from the sidelines as they practice their drills.

After the game the kids snacked on heavily iced sugar cookies and juice boxes.  I think I may see if there’s a team looking for new players.  I’d be totally in just for the team snacks! Ah, the joys of being a soccer mom.
