OK, so let me explain.  Today I've been stain-sticking my camel colored flannel sheets because I'm trying to get the chocolate out of them.

Last week the kids discovered a chocolate coin in their Christmas Countdown SocksThe problem is that N discovered his at about six o'clock that morning and afterwards crawled into bed with D and I.  He didn't know it was a chocoloate coin wrapped in golden foil though.  He just thought it was a gold coin.  A few moments later I felt a tap and heard him whisper, "Mom, this coin is dirty" or something like that.  It was then I retorted, "No!  It's a chocolate coin!  You're supposed to eat it not bring it into bed with you!"

So at that point, I got up and realized it had smeared all over a pillowcase and the fitted sheet.  Greeeaaat.  Anyway, today I pulled the sheet out of the dryer and found that the chocolate is still on there!

Let's hope some stain stick will work and that tomorrow I can have my lovely sheet back to normal.

One response to “Chocolate sheets? Sounds good, but it’s really not.”

Oh Candy….Once you dry in the dryer, the stain is usually set. Try some Regular Dawn Dish Soap..lightly rub the soap directly on the area. Don’t be afraid to use generously and repeat several washes if necessary…..Good Luck!!
