Today we set out to knock a few things off the school supply shopping list since Target's got a few things on sale.  Let's just say I was less than enthused.  I am so loving these long and hot days of summer and getting to stay busy with my boys having all kinds of summer fun. 

Why, just today we set out for a fab family friendly concert to see one of our favorite kiddie bands – Sugar Free Allstars LIVE!  After the library, we set out for a local museum (which happens to be closed on Tuesdays, we soon learned), then we had lunch out!  The kids fell asleep in the car as we made our way back towards our nearest Super Target for the school supplies.

While school supply shopping is one of my favorite things about back-to-school, for some reason this summer it seems to have totally snuck up on me.  Perhaps it's because we've been so busy but I am longing for more carefree days of summer with my kids.  And, I don't think I'll ever be one of those moms that pre-orders school supplies in the spring.  What, and miss that face on my son? No way! ♥
