As I was going through my closet the past couple of weeks, I found myself saying, “what in the heck did I wear before I was pregnant?” because I felt like my wardrobe was seriously lacking.  I mean, I have a pretty killer maternity wardrobe but it’s not like I can {or want} to wear items from it year-round!

So, I’ve enjoyed doing a little bit of shopping lately and putting some simple and fun outfits together.  For me the key is staying true to my style while also staying comfortable.  Running around with 4 little boys in tow means I aim for comfort first and foremost.  But, I never do so at the expense of not feeling stylish.  

Recently I made a visit to one of my favorite consignment stores and picked up a few sleeveless blouses — one was a black and white chevron striped tank that is a bit flowy at the bottom.  I love this style because it’s flattering AND is great for me this summer since I am nursing a baby and need tops that aren’t too fitted or make it difficult to easily nurse a baby in when I’m out and about.

I like to pair flowy tanks with simple bermuda shorts or even nice capri pants during the warmer months.  I also almost always carry a lightweight {think gauzy-like material} 3/4 sleeve sweater with me.  I’m always cold when going into places like stores or movie theaters since they usually have the air cranked way up!

And, even though I don’t like to pay a lot for my everyday fashions, I do certainly like to make sure they are laundered properly and look for products that can extend their lives.  Enter Tide, Downy & Bounce.  I recently started using these 3 products and must say — they ARE better together!
