We headed out early this morning at about 6:30 and are just passing through Paducah, Kentucky, which incidentally is home to the ever popular National Quilt Museum. Be sure and reserve your admission tickets early for your family’s visit to this attraction.

We did just stop for gas and a potty break in Vienna, Illinois which ironically is in Johnson County. While I was waiting in line for the ladies room, I did happen to notice the gas station had one dairy cooler, two soda coolers and THREE beer coolers. Guess this JoCo likes ‘dem some boozin’.

Everyone’s doing fairly well on the trip this far. Oh, except for the fact that Will does NOT give up easily when it comes to fussing. But he’s sleeping soundly right now while N8 watches the Cars movie. David is such a road-tripper. He’s done all the driving while I’ve gotten to nap, snack, read, and oh yeah, play on my BlackBerry posting to my blog.

Our plan is to stop in Atlanta tonight and get to Mickey land tomorrow.
