The newest season of The Bachelor is back again, and so is Ben — last year's runner-up of The Bachelorette.  A group of us started a "Bachelor-watching" tradition last season but this year someone suggested we do something with a twist.  So, tonight a few of us gathered at my house to watch the first episode and take notes.  Yes, notes.

For the first time ever we are doing a "Bachelor money pot" where each of us is picking our top 3 favorite ladies after tonight's episode.  I should say they aren't necessarily our favorite ladies, rather who we think will actually make it to the end!  We each will put $5 into the pot and at the end, winner takes all!   Kinda like the winner of the show, huh?  Only we're all very happily married and just can't keep our eyes off the train wreck of a show that this is! 

The season opener was NO disappointment! It is mind-boggling how extremely shallow some of these people are on this show.  But, it's all in good fun I suppose.  It's a nice tradition that my friends and I have started and I'm eager to get together with them each week to watch the show and see which one of us will come away with the whopping $35 cash prize!

Besides, I love a good girls' night with my homies!
