I am thankful for the contributions of modern medicine. I saw something on TV today that just really made me so grateful to live in this world at this time, where so much about disease and illness is known. I am grateful we can treat illnesses that people just a few decades ago would find terminal. Being a doctor or a medical researcher i know would have to take so much dedication (not to mention, biology courses) that i know it would take a very special person to go into that field. Thanks to all our doctors, researchers, and most of all, contributors who donate their money to finding cures.
