It's so good to be at my mama's house. David, the kids, and I left for Texas this morning at about 9 a.m. and finally made it in earlier this evening just in time to go out for dinner and just hang out. The kids did amazingly well on the road trip and even managed to fall asleep and get some of their naptime in. David did most of the driving and I finished up as we crossed over into Texas. It is so unbelievably HOT here and I am loving EVERY MINUTE! We have a jam-packed rest of the week and weekend in store but I am excited! David, of course, brought his golf clubs so we'll see if he gets some play time in. I am hoping to blog about our fun and festive weekend but as you may (or may not) know, being around my family is so exhausting! We have so much fun together that it's hard to peel myself away for even just a moment to blog, so we'll see how it plays out.
