Today I finally received my cookie bouquet that I’ve been expecting!  Let me explain.  I’ve recently contracted with a nationwide media/marketing company that helps national companies market their products and services to moms.  They contacted me a few months ago about working with me as a partner to help reach Kansas City moms – who knew KC moms were a target market?!!  I of course, said “yes”, and have been working with them on several fun gigs.  I most recently co-sponsored a few events here locally that Hewlett-Packard put on.  It was quite fun being part of a mom-preneur panel for HP and to give them feedback on several ideas.  Not only did I get paid, but I actually got some great freebies!  Not to mention the fact that now I have the hook-up with the HP folks for several other projects.

So, back to this media company and the cookies.  After the HP thing, the media company told me they were working with Cookies By Design, a company looking to put forth marketing efforts to moms nationwide, and they are specifically interested in reaching out to Kansas City moms.  Part of my agreement to work with them was to receive a free cookie bouquet from them and then share with other local moms about how deliciously cute it is.  Well, duh!  What kind of mom would I be to refuse a cookie bouquet?  My kids would never let me live it down!  But the deal gets even better….. I now get to run my own special contest and give away a cookie bouquet to a mom here locally!  It’s a total win/win!  Isn’t the bouquet to die for? I can’t wait to taste test it, but part of me wants to wait for the kids to get back so they can tear it open with me!
