Stinky Saturday.

Today the kids and I went to Mr. Stinky Feet's 10 year anniversary celebration down at the Plaza library.  We were all super excited to be going to help Jim celebrate.  We were the first ones in line!

The show was incredibly awesome and the kids and parents were having a ball.  Jim had his entire family, including parents, sister in-laws, nieces, etc., go up on stage so he could thank them for their support over all these years.  The turnout was so great that even his cute little wife, Jeni, was all choked up.  They're such great people that I am so happy to know and be connected with.

Jim was great at playing all of the fan favorites from his albums and several from his new album.  In fact, he opened up the hour-long concert with N's favorite tune, Scribble.  In true Stinky Feet fashion, he also had kids come up from the audience to help him out and be in his band.  It was such a great time for everyone!  Then, he took his guitar and sang his way through the audience, going all the way to the back of the auditorium and making his way back up again.  At the end of the show he took requests and N got to have his request heard – Jim sang Seven Holes in My Head, N's other favorite tune from the Upside Down album.

Even my friend, Kevin, a.k.a., Dino O'Dell was there to rock out as Jim's guest and help play on a couple of hits.  And, Jim was having a great sale on all of his merchandise so the kids got new Stinky Feet t-shirts which they insisted on wearing during the concert!
