We've all been there – on both sides of not feeling so hot. Whether it is being the caretaker for our kids, parents or another loved one, or even being on the other side of that — needing some TLC during the times where illness gets the best of us. Either way, being sick is down right NOT fun!
As a kid, I remember my grandma {mi abuelita} making her always popular caldo {soup} that always seemed to warm my entire body and make me feel better. My mom always had that healing touch when she'd tuck me into bed tight like a burrito during my times of not feeling well. And now, as a mom, I see myself being the caretaker when one of my kiddos is under the weather.
This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago when my 3 year-old was not feeling well. I remember feeding him lunch and then tucking him in to watch cartoons and just chill on the couch. He let me lay my head in his lap for quite some time and told me he felt better.
That was so heartwarming!
