I have been in this total "planning mode" for my sister's baby shower this weekend down in Austin.  Recently, when deciding on the menu, I got into a discussion with the kids about sandwiches.  We started talking about all kinds of off-the-wall and truly different sandwiches.  We even reminisced about that time we ditched our usual peanut butter & jelly and tried banana dogs.  Oh yes, the kids reminded me, we definitely need to do that again.  And soon!

Then we got into a debate about our favorite sandwiches.  And my dear, sweet Nathan chimes in that his favorite kind of sandwich is an ice cream sandwich.  Be still my heart!  The Android lover in me cracked a little smile.  🙂

But, in all seriousness, I thought his answer was not only spot-on, but hilarious!  Here we were talking turkey & cheese, meatball subs, and pb & js.  And here he was thinking about ICE CREAM!  Oh, how I love him so!
