#KikkomanSaborLast week when I made this for dinner and shared it on Instagram and Facebook, I had so many comments and requests about sharing the recipe.  Not only was this dish SUPER easy to prepare and make, but the entire family LOVED it!  It is so hard to find that combination in my household since we have some very discerning palates and I am usually zapped of all energy by the time dinnertime rolls around that I can’t bear making something that I have to put much effort into.  Thankfully, with this dish, you won’t have to either!  I love that I was able to add in and use the new Kikkoman Ponzo Lime Sauce that gave this dish a little extra “kick”, too!

Here’s what you need:

1 1/2 – 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (I used boneless/skinless chicken breasts)
Kikkoman Ponzu Lime Sauce
2 cups shredded cheese (Monterrey Jack blend or Cheddar is fine)
1 – 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
½ cup sour cream
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes (drained) or your favorite salsa
1 tablespoon taco seasoning (optional)
1 large bag Doritos

What to do:

Preheat your oven to 350.  In a large bowl, take your cooked, shredded chicken {which you can cook by either boiling, grilling, or slow-cooking – then shred it up} and add a few dashes of the Kikkoman Ponzu Lime Sauce to it, making sure to mix well.

Then, add 1 cup of cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Ro-tel tomatoes or salsa, and taco seasoning {if you are using}. Mix this up well.

Next, grease a 9×13 casserole dish or baking pan and layer crushed Doritos on the bottom.  Layer on half of the chicken mixture.  Then, add another layer of crushed Doritos, followed by the rest of the chicken mixture.  Top the entire dish with the remaining shredded cheese and more crushed Doritos.

Finally, cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until it is bubbling hot.  Remove it from the oven and top with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, or homemade guacamole {which is what I looove!}
