David is has been going to a bartending school for the past week so that he will have some idea as to what is going on with the bar when they open the new restaurant. Well, last night was “Shooters Night” where each student brings a guest to serve. The idea is to give the students a chance to “practice” making the shots as well as give hands-on experience.

I was surprised….since i was forced to try drinks i might normally not have, i was able to taste some interesting flavors! I really like the Purple Hooter Shooter which has raspberry liqueur, vodka, and i think sweet and sour mix. There was also the Melon Ball, the Peanut Butter & Jelly, the Brain – which is what i’ll definitely be serving if i ever have a Halloween party, the Oatmeal Cookie – which is what i’ll be serving this holiday season, the Apple Jolly Rancher, the Bubblegum, and WAY too many more to count!

All in all, it was fun, but i had to pace myself! My husband has now volunteered himself to be the dedicated bartender at any parties we have or if i want to do some entertaining! He is also available for weddings, private parties, etc.
