I am in a weird sort of nesting mood today. I have always had a thing for changing out light switches and putting dimmers in for some reason. In general, i enjoy doing little projects like this which david thinks is kind of odd. Today I took the dimmer out of Nathan’s room which, incidentally, has driven me crazy over the past 2 years. Instead, i installed a dimmer into the living room so that the ceiling fan light isn’t so bright when it’s turned on. Now, i have control over the amount of light in our living room which is nice. The downside is that the fan also “dims” in its speed unless the switch is up all the way. We’ll see if this starts to drive me crazy after a few days. If so, i’ll just revert back to the old switch with no dimmer.

Then, i took the dimmer out of one of the basement lights that we have but realized i didn’t have the right switch to install, so once n8 wakes up from his nap guess where we’re headed back to this lovely Friday evening? That’s right, good ‘ol Home Depot.

We were there earlier today where we picked up paint and supplies for n8 and Will’s (a.k.a., N8’s brother) rooms. I am excited about getting these rooms all setup. That is, of course, after i get the lighting just the way i want it.
