With the exception of Halloween, I had no idea October was such a jam-packed month of fun happenings. Here's some of what I found while digging around.
World Smile Day is tomorrow, Friday October 3rd. We all know that smiling is good for the soul, and now you have even more of a reason to do it!
Intergeneration Day on October 5th is a great opportunity to spend time with people outside of your age group to gain their perspective on today's world. What a great time to catch up with your grandparents if you're fortunate enough to still have them here on earth.
Dictionary Day is observed on October 16th, birthday of Noah Webster, who is known as the father of the American dictionary. What a great opportunity to dust off your old dictionary and find a few new words to explore with your kids. Click here to receive the Word of the Day.
Take Back Your Time Day on October 24th is an initiative to help you reclaim your time. Feeling overscheduled lately? Use this day as a great excuse to relax and not schedule a darn thing!
What are you most looking forward to this month?
