A friend of mine had the idea of exchanging emails over the next month each day with something we’re grateful for. I have decided to post my daily praise of thanksgiving here as well.

Today i am grateful for the gift of family. It occured to me that while Nathan and i were doing his prayers this afternoon before mass, that he too will learn to be appreciative of his family, including his parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, cousins, etc. I hope he grows to be a very family-oriented person like i am. I am so thankful to have such a large and loving family – even if many of them are miles away. The good news is that i know they are always close in spirit!
