"Rumors of rain, and let's hope they're true because it is SOOOOO hot out!"

Yeah, I just overheard the news anchor lead into the weather coverage with this statement and it irritates me. It is SUMMER, people, it's SUPPOSED to be hot. It's not even like it's THAT hot out! And, if it's really that bad, stay inside or go to the pool. I felt like jumping through the TV to yell, "you know you're going to be wishing for the heat on one of our 20 degree February days!" Now, how silly will I look wearing my cute flip-flops out in the rain? How much fun is rain for anyone anyway? Rain, rain go away (and don't come back). 90 degree weather?? Bring it on!
