Today was N's first day of Pre-K and it totally rocked.  It will take some time adjusting to the fact that our day has to get started a little earlier in order to get everything done that needs to be, and making sure he has lunch in time to be at school by around noon each day.  I am pretty optimistic though that we'll be into our routine by this time next week.

I of course, gave N a little "interview" before heading off to school on the first day.  It's a back to school tradition for us.

When I picked N up from school, he told me tons about his day.  Things like:

• He played with his new friend, Nicholas.
• He was SUPER excited about getting to visit the school library.  Turns out they have a special "naughty corner" that's called Hawaii.  According to him, you never want to be sent to Hawaii for inappropriate behavior in the library.  Funny, I don't think I'd ever turn down a trip to Hawaii!
• They learned about how heat helps pop kernels of corn.
• They had animal crackers and popcorn for snack.
• They played the Freeze game during group game time.
• Outdoor recess was a blast.
• He's excited to go back again tomorrow.
