I received this little fun email from a friend and thought I’d instead post answers here rather than emailing them to my entire contacts list.

Body: Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be.

1. Who was your best friend?
Mandy

2.What sports did you play?
None, unless you count cheering on my football-star boyfriend.

3. What kind of car did you drive?
My football-star boyfriend’s Toyota MR-2 – on occasion and my mom’s Dodge Shadow.  I can’t remember anything else.

4. It’s Friday night, where were you?
I’m a Texas girl so of course Friday Night Football, baby!

5. Were you a party animal?
Hmmm…lemme think about this one….uh…..YEAH!!

6. Were you considered a flirt?
Nope.

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Heck no.

8. Were you a nerd?
Do you see a football star dating a nerd? I don’t think so.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Nope.  Just never got caught at anything. Hee, hee, hee!

10. Can you sing the fight song?
Only the chorus.

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Mr. Wende, Mrs. Stockstill (even though she was a bit moody when David and I passed notes to one another during her class). 

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Sonic, basically anywhere but school.

13.What was your school’s full name?
James Bowie High School ….home of “the finest student body ever assembled.”

14. School mascot?
Bulldogs

15. Did you go to Prom?
Yes.

16. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
Perhaps…but only to relish in it more than I did the first time around. I wouldn’t really change anything about it.

17. What do you remember most about graduation?

Thinking, “what the hell do I do now?”

18. What was your fave class?
Office Aide.  I liked having the authority to go and get David out of class just because I could.  And, I guess Journalism – it’s the writer in me.

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
The lake.

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
Yes. I was a telemarketer and I think I also worked at the mall after I got sick of telemarketing.

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Taco Bell, McDonald’s, home.

22. Have you gained weight since then?
 5-10 pounds maybe.

23. What did you do after graduation?
Worked full-time, started putting myself through part-time college, David and I moved to a new apartment, moved to Kansas eventually and here I am!

24. When did you graduate?
1994

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
David (a.k.a. football-star then boyfriend, now husband)

26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
I declined.

27. Who was your home room teacher?
Dunno….must’ve skipped that class.

29. Who was your boy/girlfriend?
David

30. What was your favorite memory your senior year?
It would probably have something to do with David.

31. Did you like how you looked in your senior picture?
Can’t remember. Probably not.

32. Were you voted anything by your senior class?
Not really but I did hear from lots of people that they thought David and I would definitely last and eventually get married and be together for a while.  Smart people, I tell ya’.
