Although I've partnered with The Motherhood to share this about ConAgra's Child Hunger Ends Here program, I'm extremely passionate about this topic, thus, all opinions expressed are my own. No one is the boss of me!
So many travesties plague our nation {and our world, for that matter} these days. Child hunger is certainly one of those horrific truths that is closer to home that we might like to believe it to be.
I recently shared about the Child Hunger Ends Here program and about how easy it is to make a positive impact on this issue simply by buying foods your family already does, and entering codes from such foods using the handy widget here in myblog's sidebar.
You Can Help Those 16 Million Kids Starting Right Now
First off, if you've got codes from specially marked ConAgra Foods and P&G products, you can enter them right here using the widget on sidebar of my blog over on the right —->
Map the Meal Gap
Right now, I want so share with you one way you can see for yourself exactly how child hunger impacts where YOU live and your community. Simply by using this hunger map, you'll find out how widespread child hunger is in and around where you live. I looked and in my current state, there are nearly half a million hungry kids! Simply unnaceptable, in my book.
I invite you to use and share this Hunger Map to help people in your community. Also, talk to your kids about what is going on right in their own neighborhoods and cities. How fun and feel-good would it be to organize a food drive or initiative to support this need of ending childhood hunger? Kids love to make a difference!
Another great way you can make a difference is by helping ConAgra Foods and the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign would love by sharing your thoughts over on this quick survey to help them gauge awareness on this program.
And lastly, to get involved in conversation and learn more about the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign, visit them on Facebook at Facebook.com/ChildHungerEndsHere or follow the updates on Twitter and Instagram, with hashtag #ChildHunger.
