Hello, February.

It's hard to believe it's already February, but I'm not complaining!  I am SO hoping that the groundhog does NOT see his shadow tomorrow.  I don't think I can take six more weeks of winter, no matter how mild it bmay be.  This has been the topic of conversation all evening long with Nathan.  We're both on the same page where Winter's concerned!

And, it's hard to believe that in just nine days I'll usher in my 35th birthday!  WOW!  I feel totally old!  I remember back when I was probably about half my age when the thought of "35" seemed like it was so far away and unfathomable.  And here it is.  Right around the corner.  My, how time feels like it's passing me by more and more each year!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that I'm going to be 35.  And, I love all the little lines that may be apparent on my face that come along with a nice, solid age like 35.  I am not one of those peeps who tries to fight aging (though I'm not necessarily helping it along) or fight the fact that I'm getting older.  Probably because I know I am getting better.  And because I truly feel the best years of my life are yet to come.  I mean, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up so I'm excited to find out as life progresses!

This month is also host to one of my favorite holidays!  Who can resist Valentine's Day??!  Love all the pink and red.  Will helped me bust out a few of my favorite Valentine's decorations today and boy, did we have fun!

Next month the kids and I will be heading to the most awesome city in the world for Spring break, and I for one, cannot WAIT to go home to visit!  And then the month after that my baby boy William will be turning FOUR years old.  I can hardly believe that!  It'll be the first time ever that he's NOT been to Disney World during his birthday and he's totally excited to be staying home and having a "real" birthday party!

February is my light at the end of the tunnel.  Spring, sunshine, and flip-flops are so close I can almost feel it, and it can't come soon enough!
