Welcome to February! Several reasons I am stoked about this month:

• I've decided to do a fun Countdown to Valentine's Day with the kids where they'll check their little red mailbox each day for a special treat-of-the-day.  Nathan and Will checking their mailbox for goodies today!  Mmmm….conversation heart and homemade heart note from Mommy! (Will ate his candy before I could actually snap a pic of him realizing it was candy!)
• This month, I'll be turning a whopping 33 years old! I am actually quite excited! I still enjoy being asked if I am even 30 yet, like someone did just a few days ago!
• Here's the biggie: FEBRUARY MEANS WE'RE ONE STEP CLOSER TO SPRING + WARMER WEATHER! This obviously needs no explanation. Flip-flop weather can't come fast enough! I am so sick of sweaters, socks and sloshy streets! UGH!
• Tulips. They're everywhere! My favorite flower is in tons of fun colors at the local supermarket. I may have to celebrate this great month and pick up a bunch soon.
• Chinese New Year (February 7) – the Year of the Rat. Celebrating Chinese New Year is always a fun time in our family and this year will I am sure be no exception. I love the food, the colors, the history, everything!
• This year is Leap Year! How cool is that?? I actually do know one person born on leap year – hope you have a great birthday, Crystal (this is like your sixth, right??)
