If you’re in or around the great city of San Antonio, Texas {one of my favorite Texas cities}, and you don’t yet have Labor Day weekend plans, you should check out all the excitement at the upcoming Festival People En Español. Yep, that’s right. On August 31 and September 1, People En
Español will host their annual Festival. Festival People En Español 2013 is
a 2-day event held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and is packed full of free daytime
events with celebrities like Maite Perroni, Angelica Maria, Jencarlos Canela,
and many more. But stick around for the evening festivities because there will be exciting concerts with Latin
celebrities like Gloria Estefan and Demi Lovato!
If you haven’t yet purchased your tickets, use coupon code PSP15 for 15% off tickets to the evening concerts!
Set against the backdrop of the beautiful city of San Antonio, Festival People En Español is the perfect way to celebrate the weekend with friends and family. I know there are several amazing bloggy friends of mine who will be in attendance to be part of all the fun and I SO WISH I was visiting my home state of Texas right now to join them!
All of the daytime events are scheduled to take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center are FREE. Plus, the one and only Soledad O’Brien will be there to host a special “Latinos in Higher Education: Staying in School and Achieving Success” panel on Saturday, August 31st at 2 pm (CST).
So, if you’re able to attend in-person, I hope it’s a fiesta to remember. If you can’t, feel free to join me as I follow @peopleeventos, @peopleenespanol on Twitter and the #FestivalPeople hashtag! You can also “like” the People en Espanol Facebook page and follow them on Instagram for gorgeous sights recapping the weekend’s festivites.
