Sarah (my sis) and Guillaume arrived this morning at about 8:30 a.m. driving over 21 hours straight from Long Beach, CA and then the Grand Canyon where they stopped the night before. It was so exciting to see them and that they’d made it here all in one piece. After unloading the car and Nathan giving them the grand tour of our new play areas, etc., everyone headed up for showers and sleep.
We headed out for lunch then to check out the new double decker carousel at the mall. We of course then had to go over to Godiva’s for the usual white chocolate raspberry filled stars. We also stopped by to see Season who was doing some work at Bath & Body Works today and she visited with everyone.
Then we came home and napped for a bit before heading out to group violin with Nathan this evening. I am SO excited about his violin. His instructor is awesome with the kids and is very professional. I’d only wish we’d discovered her sooner!
Sarah and Gui are upstairs resting right now since their sense of time is totally off. I am sure they’ll be trekking down here any minute ready for playing with the boys though!
