Today's Five Things post is dedicated to some very lovely and interesting women I had the priviledge of meeting today.  I was the featured speaker at a local women's networking meeting for eWomen Network - Kansas City chapter.  This was such a cool speaking engagement! I really enjoyed giving an overview of blogging for business and how to utilize effective blogging techniques for maximum marketing exposure.  Many of the ladies I met today were either small business owners, entrepreneurs, and/or in corporate positions looking to leverage blogs as a way to generate more business and reach new clients.

Despite a few minor technical issues, I got through the presentation material I had brought to go over and there were lots of great questions afterwards.  Hopefully, I will be back to do a more in-depth overview of blogging for business and be able to really help these ladies with effective blogging practices as a primary marketing tool.  I received so many compliments and thank-yous afterwards, and was humbled by all of the women who expressed how happy they were that they came for the crash course in blogging.

Check out these cool women right here in the metro (I'm really tempted to share more than just five with you!):
