Salsa is practically a food group in my home. With 4 crazy boys and one fun hubs, it's always a party here! And we all know there's no better party food than salsa. You're going to love how quick, easy, and tasty this 2-minute mango salsa recipe is. It will be the appetizer hit of your next party! Bonus: it's super kid-friendly!
First, I headed to my local Walmart to pick up the essentials for this yummy mango salsa recipe. Here's all you need:
- Del Monte 15 ounce can of diced mangos
- 1 jar of your favorite salsa (I love using the Riverwalk Cantina salsa pictured above, as it reminds me of my Texas roots!)
- 1 bunch of fresh cilantro (optional)
Next, I simply poured the jar of salsa into a bowl and then separately drained my can of Del Monte diced mangos. And yes, I had to resist the urge to eat them right out of the can! Next to pineapples, mangos are my absolute fave!!
Then, I just added the drained mangos to the bowl of salsa, threw in my chopped cilantro, and mixed it up.
And in no time, I had a glorious bowl of mango salsa ready to use as an appetizer for game day or just about any party.
What I love about this easy and delicious recipe is that you can adjust the amount of diced mangos or cilantro to your liking. So if your guests or kids want more or less of the add-ins, you can make several different varieties of salsa for your next party.
Of course, I had several taste testers on hand when I put together this easy mango salsa recipe. I have a feeling that this will become a snack time and game time favorite.
And speaking of kid-friendly, head on over to select Walmart stores for an in-store sampling event between 1/22 – 1/25. Then on 1/27, you'll be able to pick up the "Book of Life" DVD from Walmart. The movie pairs great with this easy 2-minute mango salsa for a fun family movie night.
