Recently I was selected to be part of the Cheerios Bloggers Circle (SO flattered), and they asked us what we do to nourish our bodies and minds/souls with our families.  The Nutcracker Tea Party does just that , as far as I am concerned. 

I LOVE taking my boys to this every year.  They look forward to dressing up and having yummy kid-sized munchies, and taking in a show.  I look forward to much of the same, but with an added element.  Not only are we enjoying the fine arts together, but it makes me feel so blessed to be creating these wonderful memories with them and at the same time, teaching them how to behave as gentlemen.

One of my faves from the tea party is that they get to drink from very grown-up-like goblets and are expected to use their manners (as they should always!) to pass things around the table.  We always come away from this event peaceful and in a great mood!
