I was pulling into a parking space at Wal-Mart today and noticed a couple of spaces over that there was an older couple in a Chrysler pulling into a spot. I sat and watched as the 60+ year-old, balding man walked around the back of the car and over to the passenger side. He gently pulled the door open and escorted his lovely wife with gray curls out of the car and shut the door behind them.

It made me teary-eyed. It was so cute. That’s just something that you don’t see everyday! (well, at least I don’t see it everyday!) All i was thinking was how blessed i would be to be able to live a long life with David and be able to accompany him on day trips to Wal-Mart! Maybe men today get more chivalrous as they age? We can only hope.
