I have three little monkeys of my own who love Curious George.  They watch it a couple of times a week in the mornings before school.  My older two will rush to finish breakfast right at 7 a.m. so they can catch the latest episode until about 7:25 when we turn off the TV and get shoes on to head out the door for school drop-off.  And, believe it or not, part of the draw for them is the music!  They are quite the fans!

My kids have always been into dance and well, quite frankly, we're the dancin' type in our home.  Why, it wasn't too long ago when my oldest was showing off his moves doing the robot dance.

So, I think they've all come a long way since that was recorded, but a dance is still a dance, right?!  There are now so many video games and apps that encourage kids to dance and I LOVE that!  I also love that many of the video games out there can be enjoyed by the entire family, not just by the kids.  With dance being such a great way for kids to get healthy exercise time WHILE they have fun, you just can't go wrong!

Curious George agrees with this and is still celebrating the arts. He is now dancing up a storm and hosting a fun dance contest for kids! Who doesn’t love to dance? Like I've mentioned, it's great fun AND a great form of exercise and self-expression.
