My mom came into town today to celebrate my birthday with me and of course, see the kiddos. I am so excited that she’s here, even if it’s just for a short visit. Of course the kids got bombarded with goodies (as if it were their birthday) the moment she arrived.
Will finally got his very own piggy (penny, as Nathan refers to it) bank and a huge baggie full of coins to load it up with.
I had a business event to attend at Babies R Us during the afternoon, but afterwards David took us all out to eat at Smokehouse for some really good barbecue. YUM-O! Then David and I went to see a movie all by ourselves! We were stuffed so I opted for no popcorn, but did take along some Sour Patch Kids to nibble on. It was nice to be out with my husband without the kids as a distraction.
Overall, not a bad start to my birthday weekend!
